As someone who has healed many of my injuries, I sympathize with how physical dysfunction can negatively impact your life. I believe in a holistic approach to health that combines Eastern and Western medicine principles. When necessary, I recommend consulting with Western doctors. However, when incorporating Chinese Medicine is crucial for achieving the best possible results, I guide my patients toward the path of recovery.
During treatment, I use various hands-on therapies, including myofascial, deep tissue, bone alignment work, and trigger needling to bring the body back into balance. Finally, I provide exercise prescriptions and lifestyle recommendations to ensure long-lasting results.
“My greatest reward is seeing my clients return to a healthy and active lifestyle. After an injury rehabilitation session with me, you will get off the table wondering how you have lived with pain and dysfunction for so long. In addition to treating pain and injury, I successfully treat various other conditions.”
Teachers I have studied with: Stephen Buhner, Jeffrey Yuen, Maul Mornie (Silat).
While pursuing my B.F.A. degree at the University of Colorado in 2001, I chanced upon a Tai Chi class being conducted on the campus lawn. I was captivated by the students’ graceful and meditative movements, and I soon joined the class to explore Chinese concepts of health and healing. This led me to become a student of Master Zhu Xilin in Tai Chi and Qi Gong, the top student of Master Shi Ming, as featured in Bill Moyer’s “Healing and the Mind” series. Through this experience, I was inspired to become a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, so that I could share my knowledge with others and assist them in their healing journey.
